I always use the serum during my nighttime skin care routine. Active ingredients show the full potential at night, plus there’s no exposure to the sunlight. Here’s how I use it step by step:
- I wash my face and use a toner.
- I wait until the face is completely dry.
- I apply two drops of the serum on the face and neck, making sure the dropper doesn’t touch the skin. (We can’t skip the skin on the neck – it needs care too!).
- I massage the serum into the skin, using circular motions on the face and upward motion on the neck.
- I apply a night cream after several minutes.
As you can see, the application of the serum is simple and takes very little time.
How often do I use my Nanoil Retinol Face Serum?
Must-follow rule: retinol can’t be used on a daily basis. My sister used it daily and ended up with skin irritations. As far as retinol goes, less is more! That’s why I used the serum just once a week when I started the treatment. Now (after a few months of regular application), I use it three times a week, and it’s optimal for my skin.

The producer promises plenty of benefits but I didn’t believe it can really do that much. It turned out to be a truly multi-tasking product. My face is healthier and better-looking, perfectly moisturized, nourished and revived! Skin tone is more even thanks to reduced pigmentation marks. My skin is no longer dry and it got the glow back.
