Ladies,
Do you have your favorite mascara? Share your types below, but before doing so, please read what I want to tell you about Lashcode. This is my beloved mascara – and today I’ll try to convince you that it’s the best one that you can get. Who knows, maybe you will have a change of heart concerning your fave mascara before getting to the very end of this post 🙂
Lashcode mascara: Pricey but good
Let me begin with saying that I ordered my Lashcode tube online on lashcode.us. I know that it can be bought in some brick-and-mortar stores but I prefer getting beauty products delivered to my home – it’s more convenient this way.
Price? Well… a few years ago I wouldn’t get myself a beauty product that cost as much as Lashcode. Today I know that if you want to have a decent and high quality cosmetic, I have to spend some money on it. In the case of this mascara, this expense pays off because Lashcode is literary marvelous! Basically, you can come across far more expensive mascara products that create worse effects, such as YSL.
Packaging, applicator, ingredients
Below a short description of this post’s hero. Or perhaps I should elaborate on this mascara since there’s much to say:)
- Packaging – it’s a durable tube that doesn’t leave anybody astonished, yet it can’t be said that it looks bad – in fact, it looks classy. Such plain design is for everybody’s liking I guess.
- Applicator – this is what excited me. This regular-looking mascara comes with a silicone brush that is hypoallergenic, very elastic and has tapered uneven bristle. The brush is pointed and the bristle is arranged in such way to maximally facilitate coating all eyelashes evenly. It reaches even the tiniest lashes growing in the corners of eyes. Also, the brush leaves my eyelashes neatly separated.
- Ingredients – smoothness and lightweightedness of the consistency is the result of using vegetable waxes (e.g. carnauba and rice wax) and beeswax that gently embrace each lash separately. The saturated color is owed to mineral pigment (magnetite). The additional conditioning qualities are owed to
- wheat and soy sprout extracts.
- Baikal skullcap root extract.
- pro vitamin B5 and vitamin E.
- moisturizing arginine.
Let’s get to the point. What are the effects created by Lashcode?
Everything what I said earlier sounds really good, doesn’t it? Still, the most important is what the ingredients, applicator and consistency are able to produce. Does Lashcode mascara deliver better results than regular mascara products?
Before Lashcode my lashes were… just average. Neither too thick nor too thin. The thing that ground my gears was that they were reluctant to stay curved. I also had problems with boosting their volume.
After Lashcode I could notice that my lashes were significantly longer, or was it just the effect created by the mascara coats? Anyway, apart from getting longer, my eyelashes also became thicker from the roots and – what’s the most important for me – the mascara left my lashes lovely curled. No longer did I have these straight lashes – instead, they were beautifully curved. Just one coat of Lashcode was enough to achieve the effect of thick, long and curled eyelashes that somehow remained elastic under the black coat. This effect lasted throughout the entire day. And this color! My dear readers, no other mascara that I’ve used so far is as black as Lashcode.
It’s worth pointing out that this is third week now since I’ve been using Lashcode and I noticed that I lose fewer lashes during makeup removal. I think that this might be connected with the fact that Lashcode is easy to take off – there is no need to rub the cotton pad against the lashes. Moreover, this can be the result of the conditioning substances that the mascara contains. Perhaps it managed to strengthen and reinforce my eyelashes already.
Let me know if you too use Lashcode!
Did my review encourage you to buy this mascara?
